Stavanger Baroque

 

Stavanger Barokk is an early music ensemble founded by Elin Aase in 2005. Since then the ensemble has performed 3-6 programmes anually with support from the City of Stavanger, Norwegian Arts Council and FFUK. The ensemble varies from 2-10 musicians, all specialized in historical performance practice and playing on baroqe instruments.

Stavanger Baroque regularly performs at Oslo Ladegård and has also been part of the concert series Early Monday in Copenhagen. Stavanger Baroque has collaborated with Kitchen Orchestra with whom they´ve performed the crossover project

Kitchen Baroque at Stavanger International Chamber Music Festival (2011) and Nordischer Klang Greifswald in Germany (2013).
